Zero! There is no cost for our 6 month and 12 month programs. Jesus paid it already!
We are a Non-Profit corporation that operates entirely on the donations from churches, businesses, and individuals. We welcome each and every amount given. We also accept donations of items we can later sell at regular 'yard sales' to add funds into this ministry. All of our staff are non-paid volunteers who believe in the saving power of Jesus Christ, many of which have been led out of bondage themselves.
Incoming residents need to bring only a humble heart ready to change. Men can bring personal clothing. and we have a list of accepible personal items that will be allowed.
Yes! After successfully completing their blackout period and initial phase, our men may get jobs. Each resident is a case-by-case decision as to when they are equipped to handle a job. Our goal is to get them into the workforce to be productive citizens again, but we make sure they are ready for that responsibility first. We have partnered with local business owners who will employ our men.
Blackout means the resident cannot have visitors, get a job, have a phone, or have other privileges for a certain period of time. The blackout period is person specific, but usually two weeks.
Yes, on designated days after his blackout period has ended. Visitation is on Sundays, and the visitors must attend church with the men, followed by a provided lunch, and three hours of visitation on the premises. Family members must be approved by the board before attending.
We provide clothing if needed. Each man has a bed, closet space, and personal storage area. We can provide toiletries, linens, towels, and all basic living needs. But most importantly, we provide consistent spiritual guidance and biblical teaching to our residents daily.
Yes. We have a volunteer staff of men who supervise in day shifts, night shifts, transportation shifts. Our supervisors are actively engaged in ministering to our residents, often leading Bible Studies and Self-Help classes as well.
