We will feature a testimony from one of our residents and a word from a volunteer staff member monthly. As you read their stories, would you commit to pray for them? The journey is long and difficult at times, but the fruit is worth it all. God is restoring men; God is changing lives!

A Word from the Staff

I am the day-day leader that keeps our program in compliance with the Living Waters mission of getting our men closer to God and rebuilding their lives and families.
Why do I do this, you might ask? For 45 years I battled addiction. I would clean up and do well. And I would fall and fail. On and off. On and off. So, I know the place these men are at when they get here. I've been there. I can relate to it. I can accept them in their addictions, their condition, without judgement. I can then share with these men what I have found that works in my life.
In this process of helping them, it helps me in my own recovery program by giving back what I have learned and how God uses that to grow me towards Him. This process brings about a very humbled spirit and thankfulness in me... that causes me to just be in awe of God for what He can do!
